In the initial phase, the sound recordings of the Chorus Viennensis were mainly limited to productions together with the Vienna Boys' Choir. Later, many recordings were released in which the Chorus Viennensis participated as a guest ensemble. Since the 1980s, there have also been recordings of works of male choir literature, which make the quality of the choir as an standalone vocal ensemble audible.
In addition to the extensive chronological listing, a selection of CDs, DVDs and LPs reflecting the range of the Chorus Viennensis is listed below. Among the production series, "Johann Sebastian Bach - Complete Cantatas" (with Nikolaus Harnoncourt) and all of Franz Schubert's Masses (with Bruno Weil) deserve special mention. The recordings "Nachtgesang im Walde", "Musik, du himmlisches Gebilde!", "Wien, Stadt meiner Träume" and "Mozart: Canons" are timelessly valid.
